3 Interior Design Trends To Watch In 2025

Updated: Feb 17

With a new year just around the corner and the nights slowly drawing in, there’s certainly no time quite like the present to think about how you’ll ring in the changes at home over the next 12 months, weighing up how to breathe new life into your living spaces.

To help you keep on top of all the latest developments in the interior design world, we’ve put together a little list of some of the top trends expected to make big waves in 2025 and beyond… which of these will you bring in at home?

Rounded, natural forms

Off the back of the surge in interest in biophilic design, driven in large part by the pandemic, we can expect to see more natural rounded forms and curves take centre stage in homes from next year.

You don’t often see sharp, straight lines in nature and homeowners are now increasingly embracing the idea of organic circular, bulbous and oblong shapes from the bedroom to the kitchen, helping to create soft, calm and quiet interiors.

A layered approach

It’s always lovely when people aren’t afraid to go big and go bold with their interior design choices and this is something we’re seeing a lot more of at the moment, with an uptick in requests for lots of layers of texture, pattern and clutter.

While minimalism will always have its place with interiors, and rightly so, maximalism is where it’s going to be at for 2025… so don’t be scared to really let your home make some serious noise next year.

Future dusk

It always pays to take a look at what experts believe will be hitting the big time in terms of colours and it seems that the folk in the know over at Coloro and WGSN expect Future Dusk to be the top pick for 2025, a blend of deep violet and midnight blue… which sounds particularly magical to us!
