Hampstead Home

Following the addition of a contemporary extension to this Edwardian property, the brief was to decorate and furnish the whole ground floor, bringing light and colour to the heart of this North London family home.

Glass-panelled doors were installed to bring light from the hallway to the rest of the house, a bold, striped stair carpet, a painted rail and hand-blown glass pendant brought a sense of fun to the entrance.

Softer hues were introduced to the sitting room and new sofas and occasional furniture positioned alongside existing pieces including a much-loved rug and an antique art-deco drinks cabinet.

The open plan family room and dining area were furnished with a bright and bold colour scheme; bespoke joinery, seating, soft furnishings and features including a ceramic plate wall and an oversize pendant were installed to reflect a playful nature and provide a welcoming entertaining space.
